Artist
Kano Gibson
I am a 17 year old digital self-taught artist. At the age of 14 I decided to end my Montessori journey to opt for an unschooling journey in which to dedicate my time to her art. I’m a horseback rider who volunteers 3 days of my time per week at the stables where I teaches the little ones to ride while also doing some remedial groundwork with the horses. Kano is well on her way to become a mounted archer.
Unschooled Project
Unschooling is an informal learning method that prioritizes learner-chosen activities as a primary means for learning. Unschoolers learn through their natural life experiences including play, household responsibilities, personal interests and curiosity, internships and work experience, travel, books, elective classes, family, mentors, and social interaction. Often considered a lesson- and curriculum-free implementation of homeschooling, unschooling encourages exploration of activities initiated by the children themselves, under the belief that the more personal learning is, the more meaningful, well-understood, and therefore useful it is to the child. While unschooled students may occasionally take courses, unschooling questions the usefulness of standard curricula, fixed times at which learning should take place, conventional grading methods in standardized tests, forced contact with children in their own age group, the compulsion to do homework regardless of whether it helps the learner in their individual situation, the effectiveness of listening to and obeying the orders of one authority figure for several hours each day, and other features of traditional schooling.

Teen Artist
An artist is someone who creates art, and a professional artist gets paid to make art. If you like the idea of making money by selling artwork, then you’ve come to the right place. It’s not going to be easy, but the good news is it’s possible for kids and teens to make money as an artist.
There are so many different types of artists out there, so all you have to do is find something you’re good at and you can get started. Most people think of painting when they think of professional artists, but you can also sell drawings, cartoons or comics, sculptures, carvings, mosaics, or anything else that you can create. If you can make it, you can sell it.
NFT Collection
NFTs, non-fungible tokens, are unique digital assets that are indivisible, verifiable on a blockchain, and cannot be duplicated or counterfeited. You can check out our in-depth non-fungible token explainer to learn more about NFTs.
NFT collections are created when artists collaborate to launch a series of NFTs (issued and sold in digital forms like videos, music, and tweets). These items are stored individually on the blockchain. And each unique digital art has metadata that contains the artist’s name, creation date, title, and other relevant information.
From pixelated gorillas to funny-looking wolves, an NFT collection’s value depends on the art’s rarity and the artist’s popularity and creativity. Also, the price of one NFT increases as more people want to buy others within the collection.
These NFTs can be purchased using cryptocurrency and sold on the open market. There are several NFT marketplaces where you can buy and sell NFTs, and just like regular assets, their value follows the rule of supply and demand.
